Scotty Cameron Introduce New Phantom Lineup
Last year saw Titleist release 10 new Phantom putters and in 2025 we havetwo more with the Phantom 5.2 and 7.2 models, alongside some left handed additions!
I think every golfer can agree that putting with a Scotty Cameron is definitely a privilege. No other brand can hold the same reputation for quality, prestige and proven success.
Even brands like Odyssey and Ping, who have won numerous professional tournaments over the years, still struggle to be seen in the same premium regard.
Phantom Options:
“The Phantom 5.2 and 7.2 models come directly from our team’s work on the worldwide professional tours with some of the most discerning players in the game. As the demand for mallet putters has increased, so have the requests for different configurations of our models. The plumbing neck is a familiar, confidence-inspiring design to so many players, so its inclusion on the Phantom 5 and 7 putters is a natural evolution for both models. In addition, we wanted to add more left-handed putters to our lineup. We felt that the 5, 11 and 11 Long Design models gave our left-handed golfers a range of options with three unique setups.”
Master Craftsman Scotty Cameron.
Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.2 Putter
This model is designed around the same Phantom 5 head shape, however the 5.2 has a new I-beam-style plumbing neck. This neck in comparison is designed for slightly more toe hang to help golfers close the face.
You may be thinking, don’t they have a Phantom 5.5 model we could go for already? Scotty suggest that the jet neck on the 5.5 is too much toe hang for some golfers. Making the 5.2 a perfect stop gap between the two of them.
This model also features the same lines and angles of the Phantom 5 model but the plumbing neck can really help with your alignment at address.
Scotty Cameron Phantom 7.2 Putter
Now you’re probably already thinking this must be very similar to the Phantom 7 head shape, and you’re right! Exactly the same design just with the brand’s new I-beam-style plumbing neck in a new 7.2 version.
This model offers further alignment, stability and MOI and delivers the same performance benefits of a plumbing-style neck as does the 5.2.
Left handed options:
Scotty Cameron Phantom 5 Putter
The near face-balanced, compact mallet features its own sight dot alignment with a mid-bend shaft. It is crafted with a 303 stainless steel face and an aluminium sole plate.
Scotty Cameron Phantom 11 Putter
This model is a high-MOI, face balanced mallet with a mid-bend shaft and arrow alignment features. Its multi-material build has a solid precision milled 303 stainless steel face, top line, body and wings that are integrated with an aluminium sole plate.
Scotty Cameron Phantom 11 Long Design Putter
As the name suggests, this is a much longer 38-inch model with a mid-bend shaft and a heavier head equipped with tungsten sole weights. The long design is supposed to help quieten golfers’ hands and engage the shoulders for a smoother putting stroke.
The new Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.2, 7.2 and left-handed options all come in at a price of £429.
Just to bear in mind, the long design putters do come with slightly higher price of £479.
All these models will be available in golf shops from February 14th, perfect timing for Valentine’s Day gifts!
