Low and zero torque putters have increased massively in popularity over the last couple of years, and Scotty Cameron are the latest to join the party with their new OC Low-Torque putters.
As one of the best-respected and successful putter designers in the game, if Scotty Cameron decides to join the zero-torque bandwagon then you know it’s something which is here to stay.
The range is said to combine low-torque performance with exceptional feel and feedback. It promotes a square-to-path stroke which offers stability and helps to improve consistency.
There are two new models in the collection, the Phantom 11R OC and Studio Style Fastback OC.

The Tech
The OC stands for Onset Center, which refers to the shaft position of the putter. It enters the head behind the leading edge of the putter, but in line with the centre of gravity of the head. A setup like this minimises torque and is designed to make the putting stroke more simple.
The Phantom 11R OC features a chain-link face milling design across the face, while the Fastback OC uses the Studio Style’s Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face insert combined with chain-link face milling. Both designs are built to soften the sound and retain feel, making it easy to know where you’ve struck the ball on the face.
One degree of shaft lean helps to promote a neutral setup and a slightly forward hand position, preferred by many of the game’s best putters. The shaft lean also makes it easier to see the topline at address.
You can also adjust the loft and lie angle of the putters without it affecting the low-torque properties. This gives golfers the opportunity to make changes to the specs as is necessary.
The new models feature 15 gram heavier weights in the head compared to standard Scotty putters. There’s also a custom black shaft, said to match the weight increase without hindering feel.
The putters are also fitted with a tapered Matador Mid grip.

Phantom 11R OC
This is based on the Phantom 11 model – a stable, high MOI multi-material mallet. The 11R has softer, more rounded edges than the standard Phantom 11, as well as a full chain-link milled face.
It features a single alignment line, stretching back to the shaft placement.
Studio Style Fastback OC
Sharing the same footprint as the 2025 Fastback model, the Fastback OC is a ring-weighted mid mallet, featuring high-contrast alignment. This comes in the form of a multi-material construction, with 303 stainless steel and 60601 aircraft aluminium combining.
There’s a Studio Carbon Steel face insert and chain-link milling pattern, which Scotty Cameron say helps encourage better feel and roll performance.
The new Scotty Cameron OC putters will be available worldwide from Friday 14th November. In the UK, they will have an SRP of £499.
