You can travel around Australia and play some amazing golf without blowing a hole in your wallet.
Like all of you, I’m partial to a golf list but I think this is one of my favourites. It combines public golf, inexpensive golf and golf travel all in one list.

Here, we reveal the best golf you can play throughout regional Australia – including cities with a population under 200,000 – where the green fee presents a real bargain.
To qualify for the list, a course’s most expensive green fee was not to exceed $50.
I can confirm many of these courses are great fun to play that won’t blow a hole in your wallet including Coffs Harbour, Bay Views, Robe, Gerringong and Victor Harbor. But now there are a stack more on my list of ‘must-play’ courses.
And my goodness, that feature shot of Albany GC looks amazing and has me currently eyeing off flights to WA.
