Ram Golf have announced details of their new FXT Irons, a muscleback blade which delivers performance and great feel at a fraction of the price of the big brands.
The new FXT irons offer increased yardage, improved feel and more forgiveness this time around, giving better performance to golfers who want to use a player’s style blade model.
The irons feature a dual material face, with a 431 stainless steel body and 17-4 super-hot stainless steel face. A heat-treated muscleback design provides a forged-like effect, with fast balls and an emphasis on forgiveness.
There’s also a new lower centre of gravity, providing more stability on off-centre strikes to give better performance to your poorer shots.
New and unique to the FXT irons is a precision weighted side screw in the toe end of the club, which has been optimised to raise the MOI of the club and reduce the impact of twisting on off-centre strikes, providing straighter shots across the face.
Available in both an anodised black finish or a traditional chrome satin finish, the irons come with a choice of after-market shafts include KBS Tour 90 steel or UST Recoil graphite, as well as Lamkin Crossline grips.
Shaft lengths can also be customised plus or minus an inch, at 1/4 inch intervals, to ensure the perfect fit for each golfer.
There is also a range of different set makeup available: 5-PW, 5-GW, 4-PW and 4-GW are available in right-handed, with 5-PW available in left-handed.
